The Dutch pop scene, better known as Nederbeat-scene, has always been packed with talented bands. THE OUTSIDERS, CARGO, COSMIC DEALER, Q'65, AHORA MAZDA, MOTIONS, SHOCKING BLUE, AFTER TEA, GROUP 1850, FUN OF IT. Just a few names from the glorious past. But there was more, much more !!! Just a few people know of bands like AVALANCHE, MIRROR, ELLUFFANT,FRAGILE, FLUX, TAMALONE, MACREEL. These bands had a lot of fans and played fantastic music, but didn't get their breakthrough, resulting in a contract with a record company. With their own money, they released their own records, the so called private pressings. This book contains stories of bands, pictures of their records and interviews with band members. |

Psychedelic experimental, bluesy: this is the best way you could describe this masterpiece.Played on a guitar with 3 strings; also with some violin and flute. Four piece band built around Eddy van der Meer. Comes complete with all inserts.Difficult to get as Eddy gave away and sold only about 200 copies of this 500 copies release. The rest he packed in some huge bags, when he was in a depressive mood, and drove them to the beach where he threw them all in the water. So this is one of the remaining copies.

This copy comes from a store where it was for 32. Nobody bought it until I did a couple of months ago. It's guaranteed UNPLAYED, has the insert, but has some ringwear on the front from standing and standing there between other records, without somebody touching this beauty.

Another Krautrock album from the golden period. Long, complex progressive compositions. The record is top, hardly played. Shows some mini marks, from taking it out of the cover, only under very strong light.
The cover shows mini signs of wear at the opening, but I would say it's condition is more M- than EX.

After FROST had disbanded,their frontman Dick Wagner founded URSA MAJOR. The band only made 1 album, released in 1972. The trio played progresive rock from the highest level, long tracks, titles like SINNER, BACK TO THE LAND, IN MY DARKEST HOUR. The record was only released in the USA and in GERMANY (with laminated cover in very limited quantity).
